Alexandria Real Estate offices by M Moser Associates, San Francisco – California

A mix of collaborative settings – fireplace lounge, library, café – were reinterpreted from residential space types. A layered arrival and entry experience reflects their brand and creates a welcoming area that didn’t exist before.

FREEZER ice cream shop by SK Designers & Housestanding, Ramat Gan – Israel

The designers than decided to leave them by their nature, leading to a decision to use throughout all the design, unusual materials from the industry area to enhance the connection to the outside street. Special concrete tiles were chosen for the floor, concrete plates covered the counters, and black marble was installed on top.

Elephant Grounds Coffee Mid-Levels by JJA / Bespoke Architecture, Hong Kong

The project’s material signature is underpinned by dual-tones of pine timber, prepared and applied on-site by carpenter collaborators, Hong Kong-based artisans, Start From Zero. Signages which read “Coffee N’ Chill” and “Elephant Grounds” in the anteroom were fabricated by Sunnynap in Japan.

F&M Retail – Premiere at EuroShop 2017 by Simple, Düsseldorf – Germany

F&M Retail’s architecture at EuroShop stands out with its surface diversity and combination of materials and perspectives. Surfaces such as concrete, rubber granules, solid wood along with the corporate colours create a three-dimensional collage of materials.

Liko-Noe Innovation Center Office by Fránek Architects, Slavkov u Brna – Czech Republic

The structure is comprised of two main volumes. Above-ground office section is constructed from load-bearing wooden CLT panels, insulated by a vapor-open sprayed ICYNENE insulation and covered by vertical gardens – living facade. Underground section with acoustical chamber is built out of monolithic concrete.
