The character of the piece is determined by two elements; the ceiling, the architects have risen more than 90 different mirrors available at street markets. The second element is a kind of “room in the hall. With its large oval table, large round mirror on a wall coated fabric, carpet and a bunch of lamps hanging from the ceiling, the space appears as a home-like living.

At the end of the visit costumers could enjoy a light meal in the completely new wine bar, or better still, a full meal in the new Restaurant. The setting is very much the Lodge ambience itself. To one side, once sat down at their table, guests can view the endless rows of pipes (separated from the restaurant by a discreet metal and glass screen).

Designers used a typical wooden wine rack as a module, also some single planks to fullfill whole conception. The atmosphere is created with colours. As a way of to differentiate the walk flows and the movements through the store three main spaces were designed, one of them on the upper level as a sort of mezzanine, “the main plaza” on the lower level and the “chambers” hallway. In each of these spaces the public should move in different ways and speeds.

The armadillo contains a conference room and workspaces for 14 people. L-shaped steel panels slide along the side and top of the structure, alternately opening it up to views of the tasting room and natural light from above or shutting it down for security and privacy.

The space, in its raw form, was long, hollow, and had high ceilings. Casas built out the shop and used it’s length to his advantage. The architect deisnged a long hallway, where the walls are angled and lined with a high gloss white plastic, black mirror, and vertical slats of raw wood. Wine bottles are held in the wall by cut-out holes, just big enough for the bottle shaft.

In planning the space, a long-time problem was addressed: horizontal storage of the wine bottles, as is required, whilst still ensuring a clear view of the bottle’s label.

Fonte Coffee and Wine Bar is located in Seattle. The location is in the Four Seasons Hotel Seattle. It is a common bar for coffee and wine lover. But, Floisand Studio created good design for the interior of this restaurant.
