In order to inform the people who are coming to our shop of visiting new space, we install the gold gate that is a signature object of the brand, Metrocity. When you go to the inside of the shop past the Metrocity’s gold logo that is installed on the floor, and display table, you can reach the lounge-space at which a variety of goods and new life-style products are displayed.

Jigsaw store by Checkland Kindleysides, London – UK

Making benefit of the existing textiles, blockwork and brick are unified in pale blue and used as a backdrop, over which large theatre style stage flats are hung to enhance the sense of a creative and moving space. Ceiling gridwork further supports the capabilities of the store to use the 3D volume of space and present clear merchandising collections together with brand events, including London Fashion Week.

The transformation comes with a brand new interior, concocted by the brand’s elusive creative honcho Rei Kawakubo. the interior is largely defined by whitewashed walls, black linoleum flooring, and scaffolding-like metal frames are installed across the retail space, serving both as an optical embellishment of sorts, and attaching clothing racks wherever needed.

Upon entering the store, shoppers come across the brand’s mosaic ex-libris, followed by a lofty, open-plan retail space that’s defined by natural blond wood, pristine white walls and back walls in a contrasting prussian blue shade. The main retail space is furnished with custom-made pieces in cherry wood, while floor-to-ceiling wooden frames, decorated with Hermès’ renowned silks, serve as partitions and add a sense of intimacy to the setting.

The store space of Lost Garden expressesthis intention of the client to respond sensitively to trends in every nook and cranny, like hidden treasure. The harmony of masculine black and ruggedness forms abackdrop, in the center of which sits a cool circular structure expressing the infinite variability that Lost Garden aspires to. This circular structure delivers the brand message in an eye catching manner, rotating 360 degrees around its center with images of Lost Garden’s products being projected on it.

The concept tells the story of a fashion journey: precious fabrics and clothes coming form Italy are delivered to China, thy open up in the store to unveil the collection to the audience. The clothes are actually presented from inside the trucks as wall displays are styled with all the details.

Fully stripped back, it now features the structure’s original wooden beams and concrete flooring, using only red transparent sliding doors as a pop of colour. Domicile Tokyo stocks a range of highly niche streetwear brands, including items from the A$ap Rocky’s design collective Awge, infinite archives, pleasures, know wave, and frog skateboards.
