The site itself is devoid of any sunlight, openings, or views to the exterior. It could feel claustrophobic so we spun this by re-directing your attention inward and holding it captive through the various design elements. We addressed this first and foremost with a lighting strategy with different mood settings for lunchtime and evening diners.

The interior design is kept very low-key on purpose to bring out the colours of the furniture pieces. The light colour of white glazed coniferous wood is combined with grey tones. The display furnishings are made of natural, sober materials and shapes to place the accent on the furniture.

Las Chicas Boutique by GUIV Arquitetura, Belo Horizonte – Brazil

The clothing exhibition is done by four tubular stainless steel supports. Accessories are exposed on the bench just below the tubes, and at the sideboard and in the panel niche. The layout adopted allows the non-linear flow of customers, which can freely explore the space of the store, and on events days enables the rapid reconfiguration of the environment.
