“Ruosh” in sanskrit means “passion”. It is this passion for what is good and the craft of making good shoes is what Ruosh stands for. Breaking codes of typical shoes display and creating a structured panorama of displays through simple geometrically proportioned units created a rythmic and harmonized design for the brand.

The space had movable privacy screens and mobile writing boards which could be moved around to achieve the desired level of privacy any group wanted. The dynamism of ‘Urban Grunge’ is achieved by high contrast in all elements of design be it material selection, workplaces, lighting, ceilings and the flooring.

The spatial layout majorly has a central core with all the closed spaces with the workstations enveloping the core in an L shaped profile, with the reading lounge and leadership area in the point of conjunction of the arms being an open office, the hierarchy is reflected in design elements. The ceiling and flooring changes rhythmically in the open office to demarcate the different spaces and hierarchy.

The idea behind the project was to give it a semi-informal design studio feel which allows for more discussion and interaction, yet have a corporate touch to it (since it is in an already existing campus). BREWERIES! District 6 micro brewery by M-style, Bangalore – India

Large brew tanks are positioned in the middle of the space, encircled by a long bar. This serves as the focal point of the project and contains identifiable features such as brick columns, thick wooden panels with rough surfaces and partitions composed of stacked timber railroad pieces.

The reception to the floor has a living green wall backdrop with the company name. Simple white shades of textured MDF ceiling in combination with blue grey rafters and marble flooring contain vibrant visitor’s seats.
