The cyclists needed a multifunctional space which could easily accommodate the functions of a bike shop, service and repair and a place for bike testing. Knowing that in VÈLO7 it is all about two-wheelers, our designers tapped into bicycle inspirations.

We aimed to build a bicycle suitable for work commute which would be service free, light and skillful. A bicycle that would represent its owner’s significance. The Urban Zero draws on our well-proven road frame of the original Zero but removes all of the complications, leaving a sophisticated but simple Gates Carbon Belt Drive system, leaving no other sound but silence.

FHL sports store by Design Spirits, Kuala Lumpur

Japanese studio Design Spirits were challenged to transform a New York-styled loft into a minimal and contemporary by using vector brick pattern wall paper, cabinet design and nylon netting and mesh instead handrails.

BICYCLE STORES! Superb bicycle boutique by O Z I I O, Boston

A bicycle boutique with a focus on fixed gear & urban riding, Superb is a full service shop offering repairs and sales in an environment designed to stylize the act of bicycle shopping. Expanding on the shop’s original 1900′s motif, the retail store is a marriage of Victorian esthetic and minimalist design further commenting on the bicycles dual nature of being both tradition and trend.

Tokyobike store by Glass Hill, London

The simple, all-white 1,700-square-foot interior of the shop, designed by Glass Hill, also stocks hard-to-find accessories and lifestyle pieces such as Japanese bags and housewares, and houses a bike workshop space in the basement.
