The design focused upon a clean and fresh aesthetic, which aided the flowing and open feel that was created to allow staff to work effectively and collaborate easily.

The plan establishes a central core of private and flexible offices, and populates the outer edges with open studio space in clusters of 6-person teams, with a shared standing-height collaboration table. The loft-like design studios have a minimalist industrial feel, boasting a clean white aesthetic with Baltic birch accents and pops of the firm’s signature colors, deep cyan and warm red.
Architect Kreg Norgaard was challenged to design and build an office suitable for a growing online auto magazine. With a very tight budget Kreg utilized a local CNC fabrication shop (whom also happens to be Kreg’s brother) to build walnut panel walls, rolling space dividers with storage, branding wall, conference table and shelves that hang from the plywood creating endless office arrangements.
The goal was to create an energetic and welcoming design language / concept for the campus building that was designed to include multifunctional seminar and event spaces, attractive F&B choices, indoor and outdoor sports and wellness facilities as well as flexible team spaces to support creative brainstorm sessions and casual / formal meetings alike.
