Part of the key design elements were to include the grid effect – seen throughout in details, lighting and key fixtures, and the play of black and white to better showcase bold prints and colour that are inherent in the product type.

The name and company logo have driven the design – LOL (laugh out loud) suggests many smiles so then we realized an opportunity to incorporate the smile symbol in the design process. For instance, the ceiling of the costumer area has been made of laser cut panels in which the smile figure has been used as mold for the cuts.

Harrods London Calling windows by SFD, London – UK

The phone boxes were made and finished in monochrome to accent the clothing and contrast against the backdrop, while pink props were featured sporadically throughout the windows to draw attention and reinforce the colour scheme.

Shirt Factory identity by Bold

A crest made up of tailoring equipment paired with a strong yellow color are the main carriers of the new identity. The crest signals quality and attention to detail, and the yellow color signals a youthful cockiness.
