Huge gray egg- shaped cashier and water bar implies the characteristic of coffee bean which seems bitter but tasty. Furniture with various organic appearance present vibrant mood into the interior.

In this particular project for Outer BarraShopping, Rio de Janeiro, Kube used demolition wood for the floor, a “Terracor” texture that is similar to clay for the walls, container´s metal sheets for the cashier and the wall behind it, combined with elements from the gardening universe for decoration and reinforcement of the concept.

Melissa flagship store by Blu Water Studio, Kuala Lumpur

In order to achieve a mold to suit Melissa’s flexible shoes, Blu Water explored the shapes and outcome of compressing sheets and peeling layers. The peeling effect is apparent on the right side of the shop where, make-believe layers of sheets are peeled off the wall forming shelving for the display of the brand’s colourful product.

PHARMACIES! Placebo pharmacy by KLab Architecture, Athens

The design process for this large (600m2) supra-local pharmacy forced us to shift our viewpoint and come up with a virtual building—a placebo pharmacy. The octagonal shape of the existing structure was re-formed into a cylinder in order to create a spiral which seeks to converse with the rapid motion on Vouliagmenis Avenue, the urban artery on which the building stands.

For the second shop located in the high traffic youth-oriented shopping district of Causeway Bay, the owner specifically requested for NC Design & Architecture Ltd (NCDA) to produce a design that would reinforce the company’s identity as an avant-garde and experimental fashion store.
