A new set of vintage display tables was introduced to fill the floor space, attaching with low displaying units such as trunks and antique small tables for a dual display system. The iconic grayish mosaic is used in this shop in combination with the dark walnut wooden flooring in order to create the different zoning.
Decided to bring the hexagonal shape with circle to form of domed ceiling structure, so that we can feel the curvature of the moon. And added hexagonal lusters with white acrylic gives the resemblance of the real moon. Mixing the ceiling structure with a wooden texture gives more depth to the focal point of the concept.
Using the significant ceiling height to its advantage, spatial depth and use of light was carefully planned. The open kitchen and bakery enticed customers with the smell of fresh baked goods and lively atmosphere. The perspective along the ceiling border to the pillar structure conveys dynamic interaction. The large wooden plaque in the hall implies Eastern Heritage and thus extends the continuity of cultural connotation. Listed in a symmetrical order, the value principal is derived from a metaphor for the spatial texture of oriental residence.
The first eye-catcher upon entering the store is a dark, completely mirrored ceiling opening with a highlight lamp made up of 120 individual LED glass spheres. This elaborate ceiling design has a brilliant and very elegant effect. Surrounding light strips give the room a generous and airy appearance while supporting the straight lines of its modern furnishing.
The brand image intends to move away from the historical style of the building. Therefore walls and ceiling blur boundaries to create an unlinked proposal from its shell. At the entrance, a backlit polycarbonate wall contrasts sharply with the granite facade, generating a rift between exterior and interior and also providing guidance for the customer.
