Nike+ Run Club by Coordination Asia and local architecture, Shanghai – China

Nike has cleverly added a striking pop-up platform in Shanghai that serves as an extension for its popular range of running shoes. The newest Nike+ Run Club is captured by two striking pavilions on the premises of Shanghai Times Square, a high-end mall situated right in the heart of this bustling city.

G+MAZE by COORDINATION ASIA, Shanghai – China

With 318 panels made up of patterned black mirror glass, mirrors, and transparent glass, the results are dream-like when paired with its haunting LED lights and dark, moody setting. Patterns of bold plus shapes fill the maze as a nod to the name of its home.

Though the majority of the space resembles a minimalist and clean studio, a mind-bending art installation sits at the central staircase that was commissioned for the space.

A rectangular changing room features wooden floors and two rows of black lockers on either side of the space, connected by overarching neon strips. Large format type on the glass entrance doors conveys Nike’s “Don’t dream of it. Train for it” philosophy.
