With materials such as raw steel, resin, raw concrete, and glass, accented by custom furniture and light fixtures, the aesthetic is a sort of industrial chic. Artist Mike Jasorka provides his custom 50’s style comic book artwork throughout the coffee bar area contributing a sense of whimsy to the clean lines of the lobby.

The armadillo contains a conference room and workspaces for 14 people. L-shaped steel panels slide along the side and top of the structure, alternately opening it up to views of the tasting room and natural light from above or shutting it down for security and privacy.

The children’s hair salon designed by Andrea Mason/architect is located in New York City and was designed for the under 10 set. The renovation transformed the existing 3,000 square foot space into an airy, fun, and colorful children’s hair salon, event space, and retail store.
