The iconic DENHAM scissor logo — a symbol of quality and craftsmanship — also appears throughout the interiors. Traditional tailors’ scissors have been repainted in high-gloss white and brass finishes, and bolted to the walls to act as hangers.

Vintage brass-handled tailor’s scissors, a fixture of the brand’s retail aesthetic, have been hand-modified to create garment displays, and furniture pieces have been clad in reclaimed american measuring sticks, pieced into a bespoke marquetry pattern.

The store interior combines the building’s utilitarian backdrop with paneling in pristine white. It’s further decorated with carefully selected vintage props and paraphernalia that not only reference Denham’s unique view on denim but also its laid-back dutch attitude.

A row of wall-mounted scissors lines the wall and serve as clothing hooks. A blend of enlarged photographs, industrial props and vintage furniture is used to spice up Denham’s shop.

The store design includes a ticket-office inspired reception area, bespoke neon signage and an in-house popcorn machine. The ground floor presents highlights from both the menswear and womenswear collection, in addition to a tightly edited selection of accessories.

The store concept is pretty much an extrapolation of the design that can be found at Denham’s dutch headquarters, featuring museum-grade specimens of workwear in glass cases and vintage props as a backdrop for the label’s own forward offerings while vintage tailor’s scissors welded into innovative fixturing accent its design philosophy within the retail presentation.
