Huawei Global ICT office by Codex, Dublin – Ireland

Branding is subtely integrated into the colour scheme without attempting to be overly Corporate. Red characterises the Huawei logo and green was used to symbolise its Irish operation. The scheme veers away from front of house/ back of house traditions of the past.

The triangular shape will be realised in a mix of mediums to create depth of layers, such as a glitter vinyl applied directly to the glass & then both illuminated shapes and free-standing 3d white card pyramids which are anchored to 2 hand carved cave like foam structures which look like they were made of ice and snow, this is then enhanced with a strong element of texture and light.

estudiHac has created the known as Ham-rock corner, where it has designed a large neon ham that remember to the famous Hard Rock guitars, just next to the big podium for the go-go/master ham and a large sculpture of a red chicken, ‘the chicken-teacher’, which shows the ‘neo-cañís’ phrases.

The shop fit which was done by the in house design team has taken inspiration from the industrial lofts of New York and combined it with on trend materials like copper and metro tiles. To give the department a Scandinavian feel light driftwood has been used on main surfaces. To create smaller environments industrial glass walls with integrated shelves was used.
