The concept, devised by lighting designers Michael Grubb Studio, was “Sunset, all night long”. This was achieved through the use of white light and a limited range of yellow, amber and red filters, which allowed the design to mimic sunset, creating an environment where visitors could experience the subtlety of colour.

And as usual with each of the store’s changeovers, there’s a lot of novelties to take in, be it new Comme des Garçons collections, new brands or new settings. Upon entering the ground floor shoppers stumble upon a newly installed Comme des Garçons installation in the event space which presents five key pieces from its A/W 2016 women’s collection.
The design incorporates natural finishes reflecting the company’s commitment to natural farming. Rustic modern aesthetics permeate an open floor plan with modern furniture, polished concrete floors, reclaimed barnwood with blackened steel, and exposed architectural elements which suit the company’s dynamic and progressive profile.
A versatile space for this international advertising agency’s entertainment area in the iconic Atlantis Building on Brick Lane. Our scheme had to include breakout areas for clients, a refectory, a night and day bar and private meeting spaces. All this had to be removable to open the space up for conferences and events including the now infamous annual LBi Rave!
