A custom brass light fixture, a runway of herringbone flooring and a backdrop by famous Belgian born artist Caratoes all marrying the existing raw structure of this 100 year old building with the classic elements of a New York grill.

The palette is meticulously calibrated, and combines a variety of materials and textures, including an exposed wooden ceiling, flooring of concrete terrazzo, a chunky granite-clad trapezoid display, and a cool selection of furnishings, either custom-made or carefully sourced, creating a setting that subtly hints the allure of a well-designed private home.
Contoured by a large steel frame, the island’s upper part is a sculptural-like installation of stapled steel boxes exhibiting different parquet samples. The wooden textures stand out against the dark surfaces of the back walls and the anthracite steel construction, highlighting the characteristics of the material.
