The show sheds light on Miyake’s ideas about making things, and his approach to design — spanning from his earliest works to his latest projects — and to showcase his creations, Yoshioka has envisioned two mannequin typologies to display Miyake’s clothing which stem from the idea of ‘A piece of cloth’ being transformed into a beautiful shape that is worn on the human body.

The system we employed was by using asymmetrical displaced planes arranged in a way as to divide the space as well as act as shelves, and hangers at the same time all white with a lot of perforation and permeability. Allowing visibility and keeping the whole system floating, light and transparent.

Influenced by the organic patterns found in plants, Kengo Kuma has created this shop and café in Tokyo for fashion designer Lucien Pellat-Finet. In his design, Kuma uses a honeycomb structure comprised of Lauan-made plywood to envelope the space. This three-dimensional structure ingeniously serves as the retail display system used throughout the shop; with the natural warmth of wood complementing a fashion line notorious for its assemblage of iconic cashmere sweaters.

The new flagship store of its latest brand, 132 5. Is distinguished by a layout that does not take away attention from the real stars of space, the clothes in two sizes, transparent worn by mannequins hanging from the ceiling, take large volumes animating three-dimensional body.
