The concept that inspired me was the Mayan Quincunx, a glyph in the form of a rhombus that represents a star, or Venus. The materials that I chose were concrete and different tones of wood. For the marbles, I chose gold, silver and copper finishes, to represent the stars.

In order to inform the people who are coming to our shop of visiting new space, we install the gold gate that is a signature object of the brand, Metrocity. When you go to the inside of the shop past the Metrocity’s gold logo that is installed on the floor, and display table, you can reach the lounge-space at which a variety of goods and new life-style products are displayed.

Black fixtures with clean lines and linear lighting add a tidy framework for the product to live inside. Flexible feature areas were created using metal boxes in black and gold which can easily move along the clothing display or be removed for more hanging space.
