The main challenge put to Green Room in developing the marketplace concept was to evolve the existing Timberland store design format, whilst retaining the authenticity of the brand while providing greater flexibility across different territories/markets, a greater use of layering to give a sense of ‘lightness’ in store, creating a visual and sensory shift within store, and facilitating emotional storytelling through product and lifestyle displays.

The space facilitated a variety of customer journeys, including a welcoming reception for appointments and follow-up meetings, a variety of formal and informal consultation areas, a bar area to socialize and relax, and meeting rooms for trading business.

Green Room were asked for the second time to design and build the Vans space at the recent Bread & Butter trade show in Berlin, where the brand recently presented a comprehensive glimpse into its forthcoming Fall/Winter 2012 collection. This year’s stand included a Reef bar within the 400 sq m stand to embrace the summer spirit of the show.
