Iris flower installation at NOW Gallery by Rebecca Louise Law, London – UK

Within NOW Gallery on London’s Greenwich peninsula, British artist Rebecca Louise Law has suspended 10,000 Fresh irises with copper wire, making them appear to float within the gallery space. “The Iris” continues Law’s ongoing investigation of Floral Forms and their gradual evolution through the stages of beauty and decay.

Blue, green, yellow and red were the colors chosen to fill the different rooms, representing the different hues of the school. Some walls are covered in cushions which can be taken out to allow children to sit on the floor or even construct sculpture-like structures.

For this Spring display, thousands of silk flowers were linked together to create beautiful hanging garlands. Pastel pinks, and lilacs were chosen to compliment and enhance the floral patterned lingerie on display.

Throughout the restaurant we added geometric leaf patterns with several materials and colours from the ceiling to the floor tiles. Behind the illuminated window features we designed a wallpaper collage from historical pictures of the town for the Garden city collections archive.

Hands & Heart is decorated in minimal style with a dash of posh character from Freitag, this style is very connected to the target customer. Both of Hands & Heard and the Freitag have one thing in common which is the aluminum material.

The restaurant is divided in 3 zones, each one decorated with hanging on the walls panels containing names of bakery from different countries, green plants and produced by local manufacturer hanging pots with incorporated lighting, designed by Roderick Vos.
