We wanted to emphasize the naturalness of the product, this ice cream – it’s a classic 15% cream made by Russian state quality standard from natural milk, the same as was thirty years ago.

The interior is a black and white composition as well, warmed by triangle-shaped elements made of natural plywood. Both the triangles and the shape of a sport cone further connect with the letter V in LODOVNIA’s logo, which makes the architectural result consistent with the ice cream shop’s visual identity system.

The name and company logo have driven the design – LOL (laugh out loud) suggests many smiles so then we realized an opportunity to incorporate the smile symbol in the design process. For instance, the ceiling of the costumer area has been made of laser cut panels in which the smile figure has been used as mold for the cuts.
