Using a generic module (2” wooden bars) as ruling element, different combinations and junction systems were generated. The main objective was to find a strong and simple junction system that could solve the mooring point of three bars.

In the store the customer can download new apps, receive the latest updates on cellular news and the gadgets field, listen to music and download new songs and even screen their own videos on the screening wall – and all of it LIVE!

The design of the store is based on the abstraction of a pixel. A space that merges lighting and different media to create a fractured urban landscape of light and moving images. Russell and Davy worked closely to design a dynamic space that frames and illuminates the products.

My Fluffy Friend’s Pet Shop by MCM Interiors, Vancouver

The clients wanted an interactive space for both dogs and dog owners. Plenty of clear space was left for the pets to roam free, so display was delegated to the walls. Curved, colorful, contemporary shelves line the perimeter walls. A mini agility course was created below for the dogs to experience different textures and surfaces, using fake grass, pebbles, a ramp, and tunnel.

The look and feel of the department is achieved through theatrical sets resembling miniature houses, unfinished room sets, and deconstructed play areas. The department is divided between fashion, toys, footwear, nursery and accessories, with each area having its own bold and unique personality.
