L’OSTERIA restaurant at Künstlerhaus by DiPPOLD Innenarchitektur GmbH, Munich

You can find the italian restaurant L’OSTERIA at the Groundfloor of the famous ‘Künstlerhaus’, located in the centre of Munich. Combining historical parts with new elements was the main challenge for the Interior Designer.

The interior, designed by Caroline Dippold, shows an exciting play of Vintage furniture pieces mixed with Metro wall tiles and various Retro Lamps. Now, an old post table conduces as a service station for bread, oil and spices and a former assembling table became a huge come-together-table for chatting and drinking with friends.

Mangiamo restaurant by ZZ Architects, Mumbai

Mangiamo, a fine dining Italian restaurant, is located at a busy juncture of Bandra, one of the prime suburbs of Mumbai city. Mangiamo has taken the place of a popular restaurant Copper Chimney and is spread across 2500 square feet with an additional outdoor area.

Avanti fast food pasta restaurant by Studio OPA, Tel Aviv

Rows of interchangeable tiles spell out what’s on the menu at this fast-food pasta outlet in Tel Aviv, designed by Studio OPA as a “tribute to Scrabble”. The tiled menu board above the kitchen and counter is made from oak and bent tin.

The Italian restaurant ‘Fornostar’ is the latest project of a passionate cook and decorator. Jacques Vanderbeck doesn’t hold a degree in architecture or design, but designed his pizzeria trusting his gut feeling and his preference for unconvential materials, objects and colours. Located in a multicultural area with mainly fish restaurants, Fornostar is without a doubt the odd one out !
