Blenheim Design have created an atmospheric Japanese fine dining environment with embodies a luxurious feel throughout the entire restaurant interior. The warm ambience is achieved through use of soft indirect lighting and an earthy harmonious colour palette which offsets with luxurious brass and bronze metal detailing.

Pleat Luster system by ARCHIEE, Paris – France

We developed this byobu system to provide all the required elements for the exhibition; including partitions, information panels, showcases and integrated lighting. We called this foldable product Pleat Luster and it became a product of the exhibition with the theme of tradition and high technology. This folding idea is applied to both the white screens and the black showcases.

At 11,000 sqm. spread over six floors, the latest Isetan the Japan store is massive, and contrary to the smaller first venue in Paris, it’s not only able to present a wide variety of coveted Japanese merchandise, but also extensive collections. Each of the floors is themed, featuring a specific product range and unique settings.

Deconstructing these objects, and remixing them within a colour palette reminiscent of the hot, metallic world of machines (and BBQ), allowed the graphics to ‘ramp up’ as you move from one area of the restaurant to the other, enhancing the shift between moods of the space.
