Distinctly textured facade and spacious windows are elements of architecture from which interior concept has been developed. The interior continues the theme of textures in contrasting forms. Daylight that enters through windows reinforce the rhythm and motive of textures, thus gives a dynamic atmosphere to gastro bar.
The central focus of the interior is the bar, which resonates with Dali characteristics of curved lines and floating shapes. Walls are textured creating the illusion of shape for the space. Blue and gold tones – which are referenced as Dali’s favourite colours – form a base for the decor, supplemented with sand white and warm tones.
Commissioned by the Bank of Latvia, design studio H2E developed a multimedia exhibition devoted to the 20th anniversary of the reintroduction of the country’s national currency. For ‘Lsx20. Art Years of the National Currency’ in Riga, Latvia, H2E displayed currency designs and highlighted the artists responsible for the works.
Nóló store main interior forms are simply rectangular, but fun: they scale from very small to extra large and vary from empty to complete volume. At the same time Nóló emits homely and peculiar emotions because of traditional materials like natural wood, dark metal and old fashioned wool carpet together with Tom Dixon Beats.
