Fox Rothschild Offices by Francis Cauffman, Miami – Florida

The design team right-sized and re-imagined the law firm’s previous workspaces, responding to firm-wide directives calling for a collaborative and flexible work environment. The designers also increased glazing to full height within public areas, maximizing the open light concept and bringing scenic views of the Bay into the core. For visual impact, they intensified the use of texture on the interior’s horizontal and vertical fields and amplified the color scheme while respecting the nature of the firm’s work and client base.

In creating a significant client-focused conference center to support the practice, the design team maximized views of the new surroundings in Midtown Manhattan while ensuring that the center could accommodate state-of-the-art technology.

The space was selected as one of Sweden’s Coolest Offices, the space is opposite of what one might associate with a traditional law firm. Its bright colors, light woods, and modern styling seem much more friendly than dark wood, smokey libraries, and dark rooms I think about when someone mentions a law office.
