This was achieved through the use of white light and a limited range of yellow, amber and red filters, which allowed the design to mimic sunset, creating an environment where visitors could experience the subtlety of colour.

The space is split into a variety of areas – a reception, waiting area, sales and meeting rooms, an area for sampling and selecting materials, a world of living and a bathroom exhibition. Dirk Hollweg’s design is based on visual perception hierarchies: bright-dark contrasts or graduations in brightness establish a sense of drama, specifically emphasise individual areas in the space and enable these to visually come to the foreground.

Using various floral fixtures, designers clustered one hundred and eighty handmade Blossom Pendants to serve as an elegant ceiling feature as well as a wayfinding element to guide customers into the adjoining retail space. The pendants, a part of LightArt’s Artisan collection, are crafted to stand on their own or in clusters, with flowing hand-shaped petals in soft neutral hues.
