Topman General store, London

Furnished with some personal artifacts and customized in-house displays, the store is crowded with temporary art installations, frequent fashion and event updates. Housed in this two-floor space will be selected core pieces from Topman, Topman Design, Topman LTD, along with seasonal collaborations and limited edition art pieces.

Harvey Nichols never fail to surprise me with their imaginative displays. I couldn’t get my camera out quicker to capture these Dali-esque surreal windows. I find them hard to describe, they’re just plain crazy.

Dover Street Market by Rei Kawakubo, London

Dover Street Market is a retail space divided over six distinctive floors packed with avant-garde fashion, design and art objects. The focal point on the ground and first floor is ‘The Hut’, a large installation that doubles as a register and stock room.

Spencer Hart flagship store by Shed and Nick Hart, London

A former bank in London’s Mayfair district has been revamped into a luxe menswear shop. The Spencer Hart flagship store has incorporated many of the space’s original features into its new design. Highly fenestrated windows, a stunning entrance portico and high bank ceiling have remained intact. The new focal point, however, is a circular hanging unit used to display ties and swatches.

Recently Atrium has made a professional move away from modern furniture supply to selling the finest lighting products – a move that needed both explanation and celebration.

Compromised of a host of labels both local and international, with the likes of Folk and Oliver Spencer put against the likes of Comme des Garcons and Raleigh Denim.

McDonald’s flagship restaurant by SHH, London

SHH created a radical new and multi-award-winning flagship restaurant for McDonald’s, located only yards from London’s shopping epicentre – Oxford Circus. This 3-storey restaurant had to serve fast-moving convenience customers but also larger groups of young people, and particularly teenagers, who like to shop and socialise in Oxford Street.

Liberty of London go bananas with these funky, country life inspired windows. Back walls are painted sky blue, and hay stacks stand as props to a mix of denim, flower prints and girly pinks that are seeing on the mannequins.

Barbican Foodhall and Lounge by SHH, London

Nike Ultralounge at Selfridges

Nike Sportswear has taken over the lower-ground floor at Selfridges to create a multi-purpose retail space. The space is decked out with HD TV screens to watch the matches live. In addition to the lounge, Nike has its summer range of gear on hand that includes 15 pieces of apparel from a wool-knit N98 Jacket to the Windrunner. Also visitors will have the option of customizing the Grand Slam Polo.
