A corridor leads to two voluminous spaces, covered by an expansive glass roof which allows in floods of daylight. The interior design is simple and functional, featuring pristine white walls and timber flooring and shelving.

The pop-up, situated on the men’s floor in the basement, beckons fans from afar with a signature setting which references the brand’s permanent boutique across town. Furnishings are sleek and simple, comprising of transparent acrylic panels in a dark blue shade.

Grand Pigalle Hotel by Chzon, Paris – France

Honouring the area’s unique urban spirit, an octagonal design was created, symbolic of the shape of the South Pigalle quarter. It’s a subtle leitmotif of the décor, featuring custom-made mahogany desks, drawer handles and doorknobs, window frames, wallpaper details and other details.

Valentino store by David Chipperfield, Paris – France

The aesthetic is one of understatement, captured in clear lines and natural materials. Walls lined with stone shelving stone, a terrazzo floor and marble-clad displays form a sophisticated contrasting backdrop for custom-made wooden furnishings.

While the store is full of details unique to its own, including the denim section found in a room with beautiful iron frames, and the original fireplace that accents the retail space with a classical flair, the flavor of the design is still undoubtedly UNIQLO. The resulting space exhibits the brand’s progressing originality and its power.
