Balmain’s casual meets downtown cool diffusion line, Pierre Balmain, opened the doors to its first ever retail location on March 31 in Harbour City, Hong Kong. From the imaginative minds of Designed by In Situ & Partners, the shop took inspiration from an exquisite 1940s Parisian apartment adorned with well-proportioned straight lines, brass balusters and diagonal marble floor tiles.
Located in the former vault of a historic bank on Rembrandtplein, the new shop will be a showcase for sustainable interior design and slow coffee brewing, with small-batch reserve coffees and Europe’s first-ever Clover, a high-end machine that brews one cup at a time.
The Prada store on Rue du Faubourg in Paris presents a new look after renovation. Architect Roberto Baciocchi made for the implementation of the store designs of both the typical Prada store components, as well as the history of the building, the early 19th Century is inspired.
The space, designed by Architect Roberto Baciocchi, occupies about 450 square metres on a single level, and carries Prada ready-to-wear, bags, accessories and footwear collections for both women and men. The store’s elegant and sophisticated outside façade is inserted in a black marble cladding.
