Zenith store by Span Design, Sydney – Australia

The design needs to represent Zenith as a combination of fashion and modern luxury pieces with the most sought-after looks of the season but still being easy and amiable for young generations to approach. When we were approaching the concept, the first word that popped up into our thoughts was “connection”.

Pure white marble floors illuminate the space, softened by sapphire-blue carpets with a metallic herringbone trim. The powder-blue wall panels are accented by golden geometrical mesh, inspired by the weave of tulle – the beloved fabric of lingerie – in emphasis of the La Perla style.

Spotting an amusing sculpture depicting a hand lifting spaghetti from a bowl – the only local reference – passers-by are drawn into a brightly lit space where racks in anodized aluminium and glass display cases contrast starkly with marble floors and clothes from Kenzo’s latest collection.

Gaga restaurant by COORDINATON ASIA, Shanghai

The atmosphere is warm, natural and cozy. Rustic wood, soft organic textile and green decor create a harmonious environment that is calming and relaxing. The main concept for the new interior, “blurring thresholds”, is amongst others translated in a custom made ceiling installation of lamellas, which looks like a burst of sun rays from deep within the store.

W&Cie has designed a 4,500 m2 shopping centre in Charles de Gaulle airport, terminal 2. This week, as part of the renovation of terminals 2A and 2C at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport, Aéroports de Paris will open a futuristic new area of more than 16,500m2, connecting the two terminals.

The SoHo flagship store for the fashion retailer creates a luxurious environment with custom-created materials and furniture and a rotating “cage” installation. The cage at the entry of the store is the stage on which the brand can showcase a curtain inspiration and give customers a new experience with each visit.
