We decided to give Madelo the look and atmosphere of a café, a place to sit and relax and enjoy a nice treat. The use of wood and plants give it a warm and welcoming aesthetic, which combined with modern lines and graphics provide the perfect scenario for an enjoyable experience.

The different spaces are connected visually through the glass walls and translucent prints; generating differentiation between spaces with the use of color and overall design, like the conceptual images mixed up with mirrors and the textual branding post on floors and walls allusive with each space activity.
Coralina San Lucas, is the newest branch of the recognized Medellin Designer, Carolina Aldana, who is dedicated to design exclusive and fashionable women footwear at an accessible price. In this new location, designers utilized a variety of materials ranging from metals and different wood finishes, creating a natural equilibrium of textures, color, and light.
How to create a space in which each of these universes can be expressed from the colors, shapes, textures and images?, Why not think of a place that contains all these worlds?, A place that allows us tell stories from magic, technology, music and movement, a place in which small or huge stories can take place … a movie studio!!!
The airport is located in a cold weather region near Medellín, where green forests and mountains are predominant. In THE GROCERY, we wanted to bring a portion of that environment: a warm, natural, relaxing, modern, friendly and surprising place where travelers could feel, at least for a moment, away from the stressful and boring waiting room atmosphere.
