These holes are perfectly lit by LED lights, highlighting the greenish, dark red tones of wine bottles. Making the best use of the room the other side the wall is built-in practically for storing the most of clients’ wine products.
In the ground floor a transparent glass box surrounds the area of the dinning-room and gives it continuity while revealing to passerby the raw materialness of the tables, chairs and coatings.
Iconic fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld – and the famous silhouette of his sunglass and ponytail – served as inspiration for a new campaign at London’s Selfridges department store. A series of windows and in-store displays have debuted in conjunction with the launch of the Karl by Karl Lagerfeld Capsule Collection.
The store is designed in collab with architect Thijs Murré, and feels more like an austere art gallery than a retail space…in a good way, that is. The building’s historical elements have been retained but are cloaked in various shades of solemn grey, all very compatible with the flooring of polished metal plates.
