The expression of raw materials – colorless varnished wood, polished concrete floor et galvanized railings, the care giver to their implementation as well as the visibility of the structure and of the technical bodies express the particular attention to the raw material, the one that was already there, the one used to build and which is too often hidden from public view. The Roast Room’s mascot, The Butcher, a plump figure with a long nose, appears in various forms around the space: in a drawing of him pasted on the front window, or as a shiny statue standing in the kitchen, while his chopped-off leg is the restaurant’s logo and can also be found hanging outside the main entrance.
TreeHaus is a specialty eatery where customers are able to taste famous chefs’ food and sample verities in one vast place. The idea was to create an open space where food, art, and found objects coexist. From the outside, there is no visible sign of food. What you see are just a few large visual objects scattered throughout.
Edamame Sushi + Grill is a unique and new restaurant environment designed around an upscale cafeteria style experience. Intimate Dining Pods at various levels frame the open Kitchen complimenting the active environment within the exterior green enclosure. This “Pan Asian” environment immerses diners in the design concept of the restaurant.
Design approach for the material and colour choices is timeless and away from current trends. The materials and colours has been used in the project completes the atmosphere of the space by their features which are enough elegant and exiting but also sportive and serious, mostly natural and needs little care.
