The store design integrates chilled salad displays, juicers, prep benches and fresh fruit display into a compact 25sqm footprint, with blackboards, stencil art and factory style scaffolding utilised as a hanging mechanism for visual impact.

Replay Espresso café by Mima Design, Sydney – Australia

With just 40sqm to play with, we ripped the guts out of the space, replaced the decaying roof, introduced a long bi-fold window and small serve-out window, created a feature barista’s coffee bench, and crammed in as many seats and tables as we could.

A basic shelving format with plenty of storage for extra stock was developed, integrating plenty of LED strip illumination for product display. Adjustable mirrors with edge lighting to reduce facial shadows on customers when testing make-up, as well as custom pendant lighting over the mid floor benches.

Mercato e Cucina is a 1200sqm Italian’s dream with a butcher, deli, grocer, bakery, wine cellar and restaurant. Mima Design were asked to develop a bare shell new-build environment on busy Victoria Road, Gladesville into an Italian provider.
