Most of the entertainment sites choose to use colorful light sources to render its atmosphere. However we chose warm white light only one colour. We want to show entertainment by space and materials so that we can be different from the others.

Shimmerwalls’ ‘Mirror Wall’ for Caroline Biss by Shimmerwalls & Stefanie De Hauwere

Shimmerwalls’ patented ’Mirror Wall’ board system sees laser cut acrylic mirrors replacing the traditional film sequins, allowing for larger and more dramatic glass-like displays of shimmer-as demonstrated in the windows for Caroline Biss, where square mirrors have been used to magnificent and glamorous effect.

Mirrored pavilion for Dior’s Spring 2018 collection by Bureau Betak, Paris – France

Bureau Betak’s design for the space required the artisans to hand place over 80,000 mirror shards throughout the interior with the strongest concentration at the far end the space – giving the runway’s portal the feeling of a frozen wonderland.

Our heavily crafted bottle takes inspiration from the East end and Gin Palace’s in the 1820’s. The decorative filigree patterns mimic designs regularly found adorned on pub mirrors and window decals throughout the Gin boom in London.

We positioned ceiling mirrors and rear mirrors by having these needs in mind. The reflecting image is purposefully positioned and the mirrors will allow customers to follow up with their procedures in detail.

Missguided store at Bluewater by Dalziel & Pow, Stone – UK

Unique to the Bluewater site is a carnivalesque ‘house of mirrors’ effect in which the digital content reflects on the mirrored ceiling, as if continuing infinitely. The effect is a magical, illusionistic fairground feel that Missguided’s customers will be excited to explore.

Kaleidoscopic Ivy installation by Nendo, Tokyo – Japan

For the exhibition, the school’s headteacher Akane Teshigahara commissioned Nendo to create a site-specific installation that would span the first floor of Tokyo’s Sogetsu Plaza, where the school is based. This space was designed as a stone garden by landscape architect and artist Isamu Noguchi, and is dominated by grey-toned rock that has been carved into different surfaces.

Flowers are the store’s natural centrepiece. Displayed in clustered pots adjacent to large mirrored dishes, the result is a cornucopia of images, the blossoms reflected ad infinitum to intriguing effect.

The space concept is in between traditional Japanese sake storage “Kura” and Italian wine storage “Enoteca”. With this mix, we created a façade with the traditional Kura element, which is a grid made by half cylinder. The interior is divided in three areas: Mini-shop, sake-cocktail bar and restaurant.

The two shops, a ground floor and first floor, now become a single space module with individual subsections: mobile devices and their accessories on the ground floor, gaming and gadgets on the first floor. The ground floor hosts exhibition of products, while the first floor creates a comfortable and familiar space for gaming testing.
