Voda bar by Korpus, Moscow – Russia

The ground floor setting at Voda comprises of exposed brick walls, embellished with precision cut-outs filled with architectural forms and objects, a plaster-cast bar with stools accompanied by a large table, a dark wooden ledge that subtly runs along one side of the room, and last but not least, a limestone-covered staircase whose robust spatial features amplify the visual drama. Upstairs the atmosphere shifts to homey and relaxing with a lounge area to match.

Karavaevi Brothers Cafe by V12, Moscow – Russia

The polycarbonate partition functionally divides the space into a visitor area and an open kitchen space. Cafe has two entrances: from the street and from the store, being thus a passageway. Architects moved street entrance, and inner entry was expanded for the distribution of flows of people and maximum amount of seats near the windows.

Fagerhult Office by Meandre, Moscow – Russia

The office has distinct zoning, but in order to preserve the feeling of spaciousness the areas are not converted into separate rooms with physical boundaries on all sides. The areas are divided by separate semitransparent walls and furniture.

Novotel Kievskaya Moscow hotel by Kitzig Interior Design, Moscow – Russia

Forms and colours are the central theme throughout the public areas of the hotel. A room-in-room concept with transparent booths, decorative ceiling elements, object lamps and design highlights under roof create atmosphere and harmonic ambience. The base colours are traditional as well as elegant and are enhanced by a range of strong and luscious colours.

Through the tantalising gaps in the floral inspired Corian façade, glimpses of a discreet and restrained chamber can be gathered. The forest like verticality of the timber cladding and geometric step detail framing the mirrors provide contrast to the whimsical Corian.

Great attention was paid to the corporate standards. The international office of the company provided the architects with a detailed brand book with a lot of restrictions and recommendations. The T+T Architects bureau managed to create unique solutions without breaking the basic corporate strategy.

Architects decided to show the scope of information the agency reported using only one color- White. Graphic black accents on the floors and windows create an image of a newspaper page or an information web-site. The interior is made up mostly with custom furniture produced in local workshops according to the architects` sketches.

Modest materials — cardboard and pine plywood, hinting shipping crates and paper packaging, were utilized throughout the office. Plywood furniture with clearly exposed structure was custom-built to fit a somewhat tight space.
