Brass was used as eye-catchers for lights, hanger pipes, furniture knobs and handles, window frames, decorative screws, etc., in order to provide gorgeousness to the interior. The antique scaffold planks add a casual atmosphere to the space, preventing it from being too sophisticated.

We produced furniture and finished interior by using wood materials normally used for substrate of furniture and interior finish for reducing the cost. Paint finish with rough texture is applied, so that it “weathers nicely as a taste” along with the time, rather than just becoming “old” after the completion.

While the existing triangular-shaped high ceiling is kept and revived, we applied a soft and gentle color scheme to the interior space; decorative frames, preserved flowers and other items were placed to accentuate the space.

MNA’s newest Rugby Ralph Lauren opened last week in Nagoya – the brand’s second store in Japan. The new façade evokes the historic cast-iron storefronts of Soho, but with a huge video screen across the second floor. The store interior features mosaic floors, anaglyptic ceiling tiles and a collegiate decor.
