Toyonaka where this item is location and a French suburb will be piled up, and a renovation makes the house built of brick full of Midori who has that a European suburb, and it\’s an establishing as an annex shop of the bakery shop and the cafe dining where it was imagined with the open space full of green.
Where architectural and structural elements were uncovered, retained, and exposed from previous renovations, others served as inspiration for modern elements: new tiles take inspiration from 1800s colors and patterns used throughout the building while a remnant of Victorian wallpaper serves as the inspiration for proposed future ironwork.
The design and construction processes took place at the same time, each one of the designs which finally set the action, were agreed upon between the PEC members during the weekly meetings that were going through the evolution of the work, planning the following tasks and were taking the subsequent design decisions.
Aiming to be a part of the residents daily life, the design objective was to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. While the use of natural materials like wood and stone emphasized the feeling of outdoors, the choice of copper and carrara marble in the atelier sections created a less industrial cooking space for workshop participants.
Although the plan is clean, we tried to produce differentiated rooms by generating intimate spaces within the plan. The mixture of styles correspond with the brands purpose of reproduce the old idea of the boutique, an eclectic universe in which every women could feel comfortable and stay all day finding their own style.
