Nobu Hotel, London – UK

The Nobu Shoreditch Hotel is housed in a purpose-built structure that was initially designed by Ron Arad, but later completed by Ben Adams. Featuring overhanging floor slabs, and cantilevered steel beams on one side of the five-storey building that form a frayed edge, where a landscaped garden is terraced to provide natural light to the lower restaurant space.

Nobu Downtown restaurant by Rockwell Group, New York City

Situated right in the middle, in between four massive columns, is a circular bar marked by backlit onyx panels and situated right below a suspended brushstroke sculpture inspired by calligraphy, and which serves as a focal point of the space.

Patchi chocolate shop Nobu by Lautrefabrique Architects, Ryiadh – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Clearly sequenced, the hundred and eighty square meters are subtly divided, as is often the case with Patchi stores, into separate universes: from an area with presentation boxes and countless other precious containers to the reception area, materialized by a copper desk with natural contours to the chocolate counter with its signature ebony walls.

For NOBU’s mexico city restaurant Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos took inspiration from the 4 elements to transform a colonial-style mansion built in 1953 into a contemporary setting – in keeping with the brand’s other locations.

Kiem table lamp for NOBU by Sander Bakker

California based Dutch designer Sander Bakker has been commissioned by NOBU restaurants to develop the Kiem table lamp. NOBU is one of the world’s most recognized restaurants, known for its exquisite Japanese cuisine and celebrity owner Robert de Niro.
