Davaj Delikatessen concept is a homage to the deli’s of Little Odessa, New York. Offering sandwiches and beverage with the taste of eastern europe, Davaj Deli is the opposite to the rustic decorated and generic bakery’s/coffee shops in Sweden. Maybe because it’s the only one where you can have a shot of vodka together with your bagel.

The main theme for the interior design is eco-minimalistic with a mixture of typical italian textures and materials. Comfortable leather sofas, light oak paneling, travertine tiles, chairs with wool upholstery and Tom Dixon lights create a soft and relaxed atmosphere for casual and special dining.

One of the main walls is made of wooden plates of natural beech, fitted on transparent frame with led lights. Geometrical composition of Murano glass plates, creates a warm spot on the opposite wall. Red tempered glass is also presented in mezzanine and is the material for the entrance tambour.

As a nod to Odessa’s seaside location, no less than 30 kilometres of thick rope have been incorporated in the interior design, either meandering across the ceiling or dangling downwards from it. Authentic oars dipped in blue paint are used as ornaments and add up to maritime the vibe.

Tavernetta is an italian cuisine restaurant in Odessa, Ukraine. Wooden furnishing made of siberian pine and waxed. Interior looks very traditional and low-tech, it’s warm and athmospheric. The furniture and wooden parts have the characteristic rough pattern.
