We were commissioned by Bloomberg to create an installation at their Finsbury Square headquarters, as part of their ongoing arts program. We were given a space over three consecutive floors and the brief was open, with the only stipulation that the design must be useful and accessible to staff.

Crocs HQ by The One Off, Amsterdam

Crocs have just moved into their new European headquarters in Amsterdam, for which we designed the interior. This included large brand graphics and bespoke breakout areas. The ‘fresh’ theme links working, social and meeting spaces together under their values of comfort and fun. Also the ‘woods’ social area creates a unique Crocs twist to the average working day.

KPN XL business center by Storeage, Eindhoven

Storeage, the Amsterdam based retail design agency, has created KPN XL, a full service business center for Dutch telecommunications giant KPN. Storeage’s task was to revitalize the company’s existing business center model, with the Eindhoven store being the first of many redesigns. The focus of KPN XL is to provide a one-stop full array of services to existing business clients, while attracting new ones from the consumer market.

Analysing the specific conditions of the site we found a series of large, linearly connected but separate spaces in a former warehouse. Rather than trying to unify those spaces through one spacial concept we quickly decided to treat each room differently and create a series of different scenarios which would set the mood individually for each area.

The office design is based on the spirit of Skype, how it is a useful and playful tool that connects the world. The in-between shapes of interconnected nodes has given us romboid and triangular shapes that is visible in the flooring and in the design of some of the hard furniture.
