Transparent sliding screens replace traditional physical barriers and create a sense of privacy while retaining the store’s open atmosphere. On the pegboards brand content is mixed with large-scale graphics inspired by the store’s locality, ensuring the Garages feel relevant, approachable and fun.

Propaganda Hair Salon by Dick Clark Architecture

Propaganda Hair Group rethinks salon in terms of functionality and aesthetic. To compliment his brand, the client envisioned a loft-like environment with an open plan, minimal furnishings, and wood and concrete textures. The overall design, using the warmth of wood and the industrial feel of concrete, focuses on ways to differentiate program within a single space while still offering an open atmosphere. Careful attention was given to day-to-day operations of the salon so that design details could complement function and eliminate the supplemental furnishings that tend to clutter salons.

Salon de Bricolage – Members Only Club, Athens

The Members Only Club is a very special part of the modern day world city. Associated in the good old days with black and white movies, after hour card games, the Rat Pack, tuxedoes and speakeasies, the member’s only club has evolved into an essential part of what makes a neighborhood “hip” in the 21st century. New York, London, and Paris all have their answers to the modern day clubhouse, with places for the young bohemians/ creative thinkers/ artists of tomorrow to gather. It’s about time Athens*GR provided such a space for the youth creating their burgeoning art, design, and foodie scene.
