The entire perimeter on the upper floors is open office allowing daylight and views to the maximum amount of people, including those in the offices which have full glass fronts. Exposed ceilings at circulation and backlit tessellated feature ceilings allows for a more dynamic feeling in an otherwise ordered plan and also serves as wayfinding.

Fostering a sense of community is important to the Pocket Change team. As a result, the team dines family-style in a communal dining area, and team members share desks. No one has a separate office, so Blitz added meeting rooms to accommodate conferences and the occasional need for privacy.

The conference rooms, which are used to some extent for international meetings, are sealed off from the general area with acoustic pearls and furnished with the elegant AL_Group managment series.

The exposed concrete walls and the red radiators set the tone for the interiors. The office’s two functions naturally led to two wings around a courtyard. On one side, an open office for the call center, on the other side, offices for the administration and direction. In the middle, both offices meet, in the kitchen, conference room and showroom.

The heart of the office lies within a central hive area, where cafe and dining functions are housed. Blitz also designed the hive to accommodate multiple other functions, such as all-hands meetings and presentations. For this space the architects specified natural wood and warmer color temperature lighting, to give the hive an inviting, social feel.

The space was designed to capture Infor’s forward-thinking workplace style, creating an office that fosters impromptu encounters through an open plan setting with ample teaming and collaborative areas.

This new work environment for FINE Design Group embodies the creative agency’s energy and collaborative nature. To create the new space, Boora Architects capitalized on the exposed steel structure, concrete floors, and abundance of natural light of a 5,475-square foot raw shell space.

The client branded the space by color blocking all of the conference rooms in the company’s corporate colors. The entire design comes across as a clean loft like space with hints of poignant accent colors throughout.
