The first was the redesign of our standard shoe-box to be more eye catching and brand correct, with subtle but clever copy and a drive to our online presence. The second was the design of specialty packaging for our most popular shoe, a thin ballet flat that is packaged, shipped and displayed in the store in an elegant tube, protected by a soft muslin bag with a grosgrain ribbon detail.

I considered important for the packaging to preserve the handmade factor of the brand, therefore all packs are different, the clothes are wrapped in a thin silk paper and protected by a kraft bag or box, these are decorated with corporate blue ribbons, lace and the brand’s logo stamped in black. The inside labels are sewed and the external ones are designed from vintage inspired papers.

Our key focus was to create a highly recognizable logo and the limited edition packaging of the bottle. We named it OEVOO from the initials [Organic Extra Virign Olive Oil], combining the oil drop with the Japanese sun as if the oil drop is flowing from the sun.

The text at the bottom left of the wood packaging was created by Conto and is only a small part of a larger Cordel, where the events which guide the story of this new campaign are narrated. On the right we see a somewhat dubious image that can be considered the religiousness embedded in all these popular stories, or a simple saint.
