The pavilion lighting is programmed over twenty minute cycles, that begins with all lights on and then sees them cross fading from east to west over three minutes, followed by a pause of two minutes in darkness (full eclipse) and then a slow east to west cross fade back up to full brightness.

The architecture comprises two storeys, with six yellow units overlapping perpendicularly above of six red containers. A further roof level provides outdoor recreation space, offering elevated views across the surrounding area.

The new Summer House is organized as four bands of structure beginning with a bench level attached to the ground, a second band of three C-shaped walls crowned by a third and fourth level which forms a roof that cantilevers a tree-like canopy over the smaller footprint defined by the undulating loops of bench wood.

Darzanà vessel at Turkey pavilon at Venice Architecture Biennale, Venice – Italy

Suspended inside one of the many rooms exhibiting at the Darsana, the 30 meter long vessel was built from more than 500 pieces including seven kilometres of steel cable and abandoned materials such as wooden moulds, discarded furniture, signboards and boats.

At Baselworld 2013, the Hermes presentation gives an impression of lightness and an open feel. The new La Montre pavilion has been designed by Japanese architect Toyo Ito and is essentially a two-story box with steel framework and a second inner structure made of wood, glass and metal.
