G4S office by Lefteris Tsikandilakis, Crete – Greece

The construction and decoration of the commercial office for the security outsourcing company G4S was based on the dynamic of the brand, its character and its close association with technology. Our aim was to highlight the existing strong brand name that promotes the space, products and services through our futuristic design.

The panels are affixed to walls and ceilings. In the lobby areas, they extend beyond the front door to form dramatic exterior canopies. White LEDs shine through holes in the metal panels. The patterning was inspired by raindrops in one building and a network of highways in the other.

A circle of 8mm thick white perforated steel plate extends from the mall corridor to the inner store; this helps to create a soft and pure curved space.

Cumarú restaurant by Gonzalo Mardones Viviani, Santiago – Chile

The Cumarú Restaurant, located on Nueva Costanera Avenue in Vitacura commune, Santiago de Chile, was born as an assignment regarding materiality. The owners of this restaurant got a big quantity of cumarú timber, which is a wonderful and noble material.
