The team wanted to keep the space fairly clean and simple with a limited colour palette. The first idea was to have the ‘Closed loop’, which is such an important part of the H&M Conscious campaign, vinyled onto the floor so visitors could follow this path to navigate through the space. The Shop-Fit was kept minimal with lots of white and a touch of plywood.
The Berlin Originals Store is the very first store to have been transformed with the new look and design. The New York City store, which has also been completed, will follow shortly. The new Adidas Originals Store design concept takes a less raw approach to the previous ones and features a much warmer atmosphere and furnishings.
This comfy armchair design comes from Japanese architect Daisuke Motogi and is called “Lost in Sofa”. As its unusual name suggests, the chair has the ability to “lose” objects. Meaning that it allows its users to insert various items into it, such as notebooks, phones or the remote control, up to the point when one can not see them anymore.
