GOP Piano Bar by Kitzig Interior Design – Architecture Group, Bonn – Germany

A diversified spatial and ceiling design serves to divide the guest area into various zones that form cosy niches, but can also be used by larger groups. The proposal is rounded off by the Piano Bar – a striking place with an inviting atmosphere, comfortable sofas and snugly armchairs or high tables and barstools, depending on the mood.

The front-counter is the central element in the lobby and combines the check-in-desk with a sweet café, where you can consume regional goodies and the best Viennese coffee. The crafted furniture comes in oak wood and is arranged with colorful traditional „Dirndelkleid“ fabrics.

The cabinet is built from natural timber, enabling a contoured profile and a slim, stable stand that would be impossible to create with the processed wood typically used in piano construction.

We have stretched about 12,000 stainless wires, which is the same numbers of wires as are in Steinway pianos, around the façade. Pianos receive 20-ton string tensions, which create the echo.
