With great attention to detail HEIKAUS redesigned the lingerie department of TC Buckenmaier in Crailsheim/ Germany. By using different types of mural, such as different colours as well as using wallpapers, the variable shop areas were optically separated.

Breaking the stereotype of brightly lit, sterile grocery spaces, Longo’s is warm and inviting with Caesar stone countertops, dark walnut finishes, and sandy porcelain-tiled floors. Energy-efficient compact fluorescent and high-bay fixtures were used for both general and ambient lights, with incandescent used only for highlighting features.

The idea was to realize a small suspension lamp which could express minimalism but with the soft touch of the wood in opposition to the cold touch of porcelain. The inversion of a simple shape like that one of a funnel creates a really simple lamp, where the wood gives the last friendly touch in contrast to the elegant and classic appearance of the porcelain.

The series 21-pendant canopy by Bocci is inspired by the sporadic array of barnacles on a substrate in nature. It involves the casing of Porcelain around glass cones of diverse sizes, ensuing in an exclusive manifestation to each match. Featured above is a porcelain and borosilicate glass fixture that is perched by a metal wire to a brushed nickel awning.
